Location and the surrounding area...

We are based in the traditional fishing village of Sissi, where throughout the summer months small pleasure boats bring tourists from Heraklion and Hersonissos to be entertained at the many tavernas at the waters edge. By late afternoon the harbour is left for the fishermen to come and go, unloading their catch and repairing nets into the evening.

To the south of Sissi you will find the beautiful rugged Dikti mountains. These mountains surround the lush fertile plains of the Lasithiou plateau, with its many windmills, now being restored to their former glory.

You will certainly be inspired by the outstanding diversity of this area.
